Celsius Network — Are they unprofessional or are they stealing money?

Dear crypto community,

I shared my very disappointing and sad story :))) regarding Celsius Network here.

Long story short, the Celsius Network application asked me to send BUSD via its native blockchain. I sent it via BEP20 blockchain and my tokens disappeared. After numerous emails, they told me they did not support BEP2 or BEP20 network and that the transaction should have been made in Ethereum blockchain in ERC20 format. After we exchanged couple of emails and after I told them the native network of BUSD was either BEP2 or BEP20, they changed their requirement on their app, you can read all about it here.

Now I want to tell you what happened in order for this issue to be fixed…

Nothing.

Literally nothing. :)

Not only did they not try to fix this issue, but they even made me send BNB that should have been used as a fee to receive my BUSD back. (OMG, what kind of impudence! LOL )

They told me manual work was required to be done. It has been over nearly two months already and I have not heard back from them at all.

I think it was possible to solve this issue by using seed words or mnemonic phrase or a keystore file of my Celsius Network app Eth address to connect this ETH address to Metamask. After that, they could have switched to BSC network and sent those BUSD to my address, which I gave them.(request number #347529)If they were lazy or couldn’t do it for some reason, they could have sent the seed phrase to me and I would have done it myself.

Does these kind of issues mean that the Celsius Network team is :

  1. Unprofessional.
  2. Lazy.
  3. Inattentive towards their clients.

And that Alex Mashinsky:

  1. Does not know how to build up a team made up with responsible and professional people.
  2. Does not care about his client’s problems and money.

I encourage everyone to think whether it’s worth trusting them with your money or not, whether you’ll be safe or not. If there is any problem caused by the company itself, will they at least try to help?

I am sure it could have been resolved faster, but they have been even more inattentive, actually, absolutely neglectful ever since I published my previous article. Many people have reached out and told me they have been experiencing same problems. Zero attention, zero solution.

I will keep updating if there’s any news regarding this problem.
